She was held for more than 9 years. Not far from her home, 50 minutes drive. Not far from the local police station.
Fusako Sano, 9 years old at the time, lived in Sanjo City in Japan, North of Tokyo. Nice little town. Quiet and beautiful.
Sano was walking home after watching a baseball game at her school. She was forced into a car and taken to a nearby town called Kashiwazaki.
